John 5:7. The sick man answered him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up."
This man could be like a person in our time who says, "Everyone has given up on me. Nobody believes that my life can ever amount to anything more than lying on this couch or hoping for the stirring of the water. Maybe one day I won't be depressed. Maybe one day I won't be paralyzed when it comes to getting up and moving forward."
But thank God there's always one who doesn't give up. If the whole world gives up on you, there's always one who hasn't. There's always one who has a plan, sees a purpose for your life, and can give you the strength to walk again in places that you've never been able to walk in before.
Trust today in Jesus Christ, The One Who Refuses To Give Up on you. He's the one who speaks today and says, "Rise, take up your bed, and walk."
