It’s Time to Get Up
First Kings, chapter 19, verse 13: “So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood out in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly, a voice came to him and said, ‘What are you doing here, Elijah?'”
Today, you might be feeling alone and ashamed because of your failure. You cover your face, thinking that God will never speak to you or use you again. I want you to know today that you are completely wrong. Jesus loves you with an everlasting love and will never leave you or forsake you. He is not ashamed of you. He died to cover you and present you faultless before the throne of God, His Father. He has much that He still plans to do for you and through you.
My brother, my sister, listen to me today. It’s time to get up. It’s time to go forward. Jesus loves you. It’s time again to pray.
