God, Can You Keep A Secret

The gospel of Matthew, chapter six and verse six, says, "But you when you pray, go into your room. And when you've shut your door, pray to your father, who is in the secret place. And your father who sees in secret will reward you openly."

God loves this secret at intimate times when we choose to be alone with Him in prayer. At those times, we pour out the deepest longings of our hearts in humility and honesty. The failings of our hearts, which we often publicly conceal, are laid bare there.

God is so pleased with the honesty of this moment that He can't give you a secret victory. Now He has to do it openly. I guess you could say that what began in secret has now become a visible victory for everyone to see. It is no secret what God can do.

It's time to pray.
