An Obedient and Surrendered Heart

Galatians, chapter 1, beginning at verse 15, "But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood..."

One of the hallmarks of the life of the apostle Paul is that when God called him, he did not seek the opinions of man to guide him. Rather, he began with a simple prayer: "Lord, what would you have me to do?" Following where Jesus lead him and embracing what the Spirit taught him, he impacted this world as perhaps no single man ever has. Even today, the memory of his life calls out to you and I, "Follow me, as I follow Christ." So much can be accomplished by one obedient and surrendered heart.

It's time to pray.
